I received a very unexpected gift today from a girl I work with. It was so out of the blue and she handed it over as though it was nothing, saying "oh, here. I got you this".
Sometimes the little things can mean so much. A kind gesture goes so far. I thanked her and tried to convey how much it meant to me and she seemed surprised that I was so touched. I will pay this forward.
